Members
The members of our Department teach in a wide range of programmes offered by the Department of Hungarian Linguistics and Finno‑Ugric Studies (DHLFUS/MNyFI), as well as in joint programmes run by the DHLFUS/MNyFI and the Department of Hungarian Literary and Cultural Studies. Their teaching activities focus in particular on speech sciences, research methodology, the history of the Hungarian language, communication studies, and discourse analysis, as well as on applied linguistics courses such as speech technique, business correspondence, negotiation techniques, and document editing. The staff of the Department are actively involved in both the national and international academic community, and their achievements in teaching, research, and public life have been recognised with numerous awards and distinctions.
